Joint Admission Exercise 2018
The Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) is conducted every January by the Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE) to allow Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level certificate holders to apply for admission to courses offered by junior colleges, Millennia Institute, polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE)
Dear JC1 students,
Congratulations on your posting to Catholic Junior College. I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you as you join the CJC family. My teachers and I look forward to guiding you in your educational journey to be Thinkers with a Mission and Leaders with a Heart.
In order to help you settle in, we have specially organised an Orientation programme for all JC1 students joining the school. Your active participation in the Orientation activities will allow you to familiarise yourself with the college’s academic and co-curricular programmes, interact and bond with your seniors and other JC1 students. We look forward to seeing you at Orientation. Please take note of the following details:
- Report at the college punctually by 7.30 a.m. for the flag-raising ceremony on Friday 2 February 2018. Check the display boards at the lower foyer for the Orientation Group (OG) and OG facilitators you have been assigned to.
- Be appropriately and neatly attired in your secondary school uniform, and bring along a set of Secondary School PE attire. Please also ensure that your hair is neat and tidy. Dyed hair and multiple earrings are not allowed.
- The flag-raising ceremony begins at 7.35 a.m. daily during Orientation. You are expected to be punctual for all activities and functions. Attendance will be marked at the beginning and end of each day.
More details are found in the letter addressed to you. You may access the letter through the link sent to your parents/guardians. Should you have further queries, please contact the General Office at 6252 4083.
We look forward to having you join the college and may God bless you and your family as you embark on an exciting journey of learning and discovery.
