Safe Management Measures:

As we enter Phase 3 of the 3-Phased Approach to resume activities safely, schools will continue to stay vigilant and adhere strictly to the Safe Management Measures (SMM) to safeguard the well-being of our students, staff and other stakeholders. Parents or guardians will only be allowed to drop off their child or ward at the college.

a) Students are not to come to school if placed on any Quarantine Order (QO), Stay Home Notice (SHN), Leave of Absence (LOA) or Approved Absence (AA) or equivalent. If the student is unwell, he/she must see a doctor promptly.

b) Students who are unwell, or who have adult household members on Quarantine Order (QO)/Stay Home Notice (SHN)/Leave of Absence (LOA) or its equivalent, including flu-like symptoms such as fever and cough, will be required to stay away from College.

c) Schools will continue with their current Safe Entry (SE) process for students and staff. Upon entry to College, daily temperature-taking with visual screening will continue to be carried out for all students and staff. All JC1 students will be provided with a new personal Oral Digital Thermometer (ODT) on 29 Jan. Do remind your child to bring his/her personal Oral Digital Thermometer and measure his/her temperature twice daily.

d) Students and staff are required to wear their masks throughout the day except when consuming food during breaks or when engaged in strenuous physical activities e.g. during PE lessons.

e) Students and staff will need to wash their hands frequently throughout the day and wipe down high touch surfaces such as canteen tables and shared equipment after use.

f) Safe-distancing – There will be exam-style seating in classrooms and spaced seating in lecture theatres, canteen and other venues. Intermingling across classes/levels will be minimised.
