The Common Application – an organisation that coordinates College (university) applications for universities in the United States
IDP Education – a student placement service for students who wish to study in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States
Universities and Colleges Admission Service (UCAS) – an organisation providing a centralised application service for prospective undergraduates in the United Kingdom
4) Applying for Scholarships
There are many kinds of scholarships out there. Before applying, do ask yourself the following:
Why is this organisation offering a scholarship? How can I contribute to the organisation offering the scholarship?
All our public universities offer scholarships, and both bonded and bond-free scholarships are available. Please refer to the university websites above for more information on the scholarships offered.
Ministries, statutory boards and private organisations also offer scholarships, and both bonded and bond-free scholarships are available. A selection of these is available through the following websites:
BrightSparks – a scholarship portal which enables you to apply for multiple scholarships with a single resume. It also has a comparison function to enable you to compare scholarships.
Scholarships@Gov - a one-stop portal that gives you information on the various Public Service scholarships, from prerequisites to testimonials.

6) Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE)
GCE A-Level holders who are interested in applying for admission to any diploma course should do so directly to the relevant polytechnic through the Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE).
