CJC Track Sprints to Historic Double Gold in National Schools A Division

The CJC Track and Field team wrapped up the 2016 National Schools A Division season with the first sprint double gold in CJC history. Shahmee Ruzain (1T09) was the gold medallist in the competitive 100m and 200m sprint event, pressing on despite a tweaked hamstring in the midst of the sprint. The Track and Field team also bagged other individual and team awards. Brian Loh (1T29) won a silver medal in the discus event, in an impressive feat of strength. The 4x100m Boys relay team also saw CJC’s return to the podium after an absence of 4 years, winning a silver-medal finish in the competitive A Division finals. The team comprised Shahmee Ruzain (1T09), Alphonsus Teow (1T26), Chow Kin Wei (2T23), and Ben Kwok (2T02). With these wins, the CJC Track and Field team proves once again that CJC is not a trivial force on the track.
