College Daily Schedule
Morning Mass is celebrated every Tuesday morning (8.00 a.m.) and Friday afternoon (1.15 p.m.) in House of Prayer.
Morning Assembly Attendance is compulsory for morning assembly. All students will report to the assembly venue by 8:35 a.m. for morning assembly. Morning Reflection and Prayer will start punctually at 8.40 a.m., followed by Flag-raising, attendance-taking and daily announcement.
Curriculum time is from 7.35 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Period Zero refers to the period from 7.35 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. Some classes or consultations may be scheduled during these time slots.
Bell System: There are two bell-rings between periods, 5-minutes interval apart. The first ring denotes the end of a lesson while the second indicates the start of the next lesson.
Students must report punctually for their lessons. A student will be considered late for College if he/she is late for his/her period zero lessons.
Academic lessons include Lectures, Tutorials and Practical lessons. These lessons are carried out in the Lecture Theatres, Home Rooms and Science Laboratories respectively. Students are expected to attend all lessons punctually as featured in their timetable.
Physical Education lessons are conducted in the College Sport Facilities, Auditorium & Extension or Gymnasium.
Self-Study: Students are expected to do self-study when they have free period in their timetable. They can use the Library, their Home Room or the Study Areas for this purpose.
Recess: Morning break & lunch are scheduled according to students’ free period in their timetable. All food and drinks must be consumed in the canteen.
End of Day for students will be determined by the individual’s class timetable or 1.00 p.m., whichever comes later.
The official time for students to be in college is from 7.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. from Mondays to Fridays for lessons, self-study, consultation and Co-Curricular Activities.
All students must be in college trousers or skirt, approved college T-shirt, clean track shoes and white socks during consultation with teachers, holidays and weekends.
Co-Curricular Activities (CCA)
CCA sessions begins at 4.00 p.m. on Wednesdays and at 3.00 p.m. on Fridays.
CCA sessions begins at 5.00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. (Only during competitons period/Semester 1).
Some CCAs operate on Saturdays to accommodate coaching schedules and access to facilities. Please refer to the CCA Schedule for more details on each CCA.
Official CCA Competition attire must comply with the guidelines for this apparel, and have the approval of the HOD, PE/CCA. Regular attendance is needed to have the CCA recognised and reflected in the student’s holistic achievement certificate.
